MATHLETICS CLUB

Mathletics is a computer program  that teaches mathematics in a  fun way. All students have a password that allows them to access Mathletics at school and outside of school. You might have access to a computer and the internet at home or at the local library where you can log into Mathletics. We are starting a Mathletics Club on Monday afternoons. Students may stay at school and use Mathletics in the Computer Lab from 3:30-4:30pm.We have spaces for 25 students and we will take turns each week so that all students are able to participate.

Welcome to our school website!  My name is Helen Otway and I am very excited about joining the Debney Meadows Primary School community as the new principal.

Debney Meadows Primary School is a small, inner city school located on the edge of Debney Park and close to the Flemington Office of Housing Estate. The school reflects a uniquely diverse community of families from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. Read more ...

On Monday 15th August parents were invited to the school to meet with me and to discuss their 'stars' and 'wishes' for Debney Meadows Primary School and the education of their children.  We had a good turn out with parents and interpreters.  These were some of the comments -

STARS:
·      A very good education is provided to the children here at Debney Meadows PS.
·      Teachers and staff are very dedicated to the education of the students.
·      The Strength in Numbers program was very positive and all parents who attended enjoyed the launch.
·      Reminding our students to Be On Time has been working.

WISHES:
·      For Debney Meadows to become even better.
·      To offer extra support for homework after school.
·      That the Strength in Numbers program be extended to the rest of the school.
·      That positive behaviour continues to be supported and monitored in the school.
